About Us

Kids' Village

Our Heart

The Children's Ministry creates environments where first through fifth graders become confident in God's character and connected to those around them.

"But blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. He will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit." Jeremiah 17:7-8

Confident

Everything the Children's Ministry does is centered on growing kids' confidence in God. We want our kids to have a deeply rooted confidence in God's character that leads them to passionately follow Him whether days are good or hard.

Jeremiah 17:7-8 paints a picture of what it looks like to be confident in God.

Connected

Growing confidence in God is cultivated by connecting kids to four points:

Connecting Them to God

We want our kids to know God and trust Him. All that we teach is centered on the nature and character of God. Our primary environment for teaching is called Kids' Village; it is our weekend ministry for first through fifth graders. In Kids' Village, kids learn that God is:

God KNOWS what is best

God GIVES what is best

God DOES what is best

God IS what is best

Connecting Them to Their Parents

Parents hold the primary place of influence in their children's lives. We want to equip and encourage parents as they take the lead in the spiritual development of their children. Check out our Family Connection page for more information.

Connecting Them to Their Leaders

It is important that kids develop strong relationships with their small group leaders. These relationships are essential to their growth and experience in Kids' Village. Leaders serve as godly role models and as a source of love, wisdom and encouragement. Interested in opportunities to serve?

Connecting Them to Their Peers

Having strong relationships with peers is a key part of cultivating confidence in God. Even in the elementary years we want to begin sowing the seeds of community for our kids.
